YRD. DOÇ. DR. BEHİYE BAHAR DABAKOĞLU
After graduating from Kabataş Boys High School in 1998, I completed my higher education at Marmara University Faculty of Dentistry in 2005. While studying at the faculty, I was interested in prosthetics, veneers, and aesthetic treatments.

I began my doctoral studies in 2005 at Yeditepe University Faculty of Dentistry, Department of Prosthetic Dentistry, and earned the title of "specialist doctor" in 2009 with my thesis on zirconium-supported porcelain. As of October 2015, I have been working as an Assistant Professor (Associate Professor) as a part-time faculty member at a private university.

Between 2020 and 2022, I served as a founding faculty member, Deputy Chief Physician, and Department Head at Istanbul University's Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Dentistry. I translated and edited "Aesthetic Analyses" by Dr. Mauro Fradeani, a reference book in aesthetic dentistry. As a prosthodontist, I support several clinics as a consultant physician. In addition to my 10 years of professional training, I continue to improve my skills by participating in numerous domestic and international training programs related to my field.

I believe that to adequately respond to the ever-changing needs of ever-evolving technology and materials science, it's imperative for every dentist to participate in professional training after their undergraduate education. I've been practicing dentistry since 2005, specializing in aesthetic dentistry, all-ceramic porcelain, and veneer applications. Enabling a person to smile happily and restore their lacking self-confidence with a beautiful smile is a truly valuable and worthwhile endeavor for me.

I am a member of the Istanbul Chamber of Dentists, the Academy of Aesthetic Dentistry (EDAD), and the European Society of Cosmetic Dentistry (ESCD). I served on the Board of Auditors for the Istanbul Chamber of Dentists for two years and on the Board of Auditors for EDAD for six years. I also worked for several non-governmental organizations, hoping to contribute to their community service. I'm also interested in amateur theater and, through the books I read, in psychology and personal development. My greatest pleasures include exploring new places and new flavors, reading, nature walks, and chatting with friends.
