In mouths where all teeth are missing, 4 or 6 implants are placed in the upper and lower jaws to support fixed prostheses. In such systems, temporary prostheses are made on the same day as the implants or within 72 hours. This way, you start the day without teeth and end it with fixed prostheses in your mouth.

The prostheses placed in the mouth are fixed just like your natural teeth. These screw-retained prostheses can only be removed by your dentist.

The temporary prostheses placed on the day of the operation are used for about 3–6 months, after which your permanent fixed prostheses are made.

For individuals with no teeth at all, these types of prostheses greatly improve quality of life. Using a fixed prosthesis that cannot be removed provides significant comfort, enhances your chewing efficiency, makes eating enjoyable again, and gives you the aesthetically pleasing teeth you desire.
